Stuffed Tindora -- Guttu Dondakay Kura

Here we go..another dondakay recipe...hehe :D Forgot to get dondakays this week from the stores :( So no dondakay for atleast a week :(
The recipe below is nice but takes time to make. So need to allocate enough time beforehand to make this kura.

Guttu Dondakay Kura

In a pan dry roast: Cumin seeds + black gram + yellow gram + coriander seeds + red peppers + sesame seeds + little bit of kus kus + tamarind + grated coconut

Grind the above

Cut dondakays by slicing each side of the whole dondakay. Microwave these for approximately 5-6 min. Stuff these with the above mixture.

In a pan add oil + cumin seeds + turmeric + curry leaves + the dondakays

Keep pan in low flame for a while and cover...after some time add in chopped onions and keep on high. Keep stirring somestimes so all sides of the dondakay fry.
