Looking to start a water regimen. According to a lot of research, water not only helps in improvement of general health, it can also help in improving skin. Since the past few months my skin has taken a turn for the worse. I developed acne while I was in I. Those have led to acne scars and hyper pigmentation on my skin. Furthermore my skin is generally very dull and sometimes even flaky(especially in the winter). Upon much research I came across some natural remedies to try and improve my skin and hopefully reduce the tan and hyper pigmentation of my skin.
Starting today I will try to drink about 3 Liters of water---that's a lot of water. Especially for someone like me who barely drinks water. Furthermore I am also looking into trying some of the following masks:
- Tomato Juice
- Lemon + honey + besan + yogurt
- Lemon + yogurt or milk
- rice powder + green tea
- Turmeric + Lemon + honey
- Turmeric + honey
- Turmeric + honey + yogurt + rice flour
Let's see how long I maintain the water regimen and continue with these masks---I am generally very bad at maintaining regimens.
Other benefits of the water regimen:
Improvement in digestion
"Cleaning" the liver and kidneys, etc.
Since coming back from India I also started suffering from heart burn and Acid reflux. Since I increased my water uptake I have noticed a vast improvement in that area. Hopefully now that I will be drinking a LOT more water and (hopefully) keeping up with the regimen I will improve further.
No recipe up for now. This weekend I didn't cook much...just made veg maggi one day and oh I did make a egg less bake less cake. I'll put that recipe up soon and also A's famous bread bajji/pakoda recipe.
